The Ocala City Council in a unanimous vote on Tuesday gave staff the go-ahead to negotiate an agreement with Ansafone Contact Centers LLC to open a call center and bring 300 new jobs to Ocala’s downtown, at annual wages ranging from $21,800 to $45,000.
